Reaching Out to the Sun

WEEK 3 AFTERNOON PROGRAMMING

Mantra

I am worthy because I exist.

I am a powerful force and a warrior for good.

I choose health, joy, and life with every opportunity.

W3 Afternoon: Offerings

PRACTICE: BREATHWORK (12M)

Breath of Fire with Yoga With Adrienne

PRACTICE: WALK/HIKE (~60M)

Get outside to do a ~60 minute walk or hike. If there are hills near you, try to include some soft inclines to build some heat and fire in the body as you walk, if that works for you today. If there are wooded areas or naturally beautiful areas near you that feel safe to access, take advantage of the healing power of nature as well!

WATCH: TALK (42M)

Oprah’s SuperSoul Sunday with Dr. Edith Eva Eger, Holocaust survivor, Psychologist, Author

JOURNAL (~60M)

Journal: Consider the following prompts, watching for your being’s natural impulse towards health, well-being, and vitality:

What are you the most proud of having done in your life?

What is the kindest thing you can remember doing in life? How does it feel to recall this instance? Can you recall one?

What are the various roles that you play in life? (Partner, parent, daughter/son, sibling, friend, employer, employee, leader, mentor, caretaker, etc …) In what ways have these roles shifted since the COVID-19 crisis?

We are all dealing with a startlingly rapid transition in many of our roles in life and may be feeling like our current contributions to others aren’t enough.

How do you feel about what your contribution is in each of your roles as they are now? How does it feel to consider that what you are doing right now is enough? How can you bring more compassion to yourself?

Consider that the enormous challenges that you are facing right now have the potential to catalyze your own development. In what ways do you want to grow? How would you like to emerge back into the world? In what ways are you being called to action?

Consider your confidence in your ability to make any necessary changes in your life. What comes up for you?

In what ways right now are you able to experience freedom of choice? Do you feel free to choose things that are life-giving and in alignment with yourself? Are there any choices that you are facing that you would like to re-visit in this light?

Which practices from today most resonated with you? What would you like to carry forward with you?
