WEEK 6
Discernment & Wisdom
Now that we have spent weeks learning mindfulness tools and practicing attuning our attention, we can use those tools to begin to discern repetitive, habitual mental patterns from our innate wisdom and intuition. When we are able to begin to make this distinction, we shed old, habitual ways of being, and are more able to stand in our truth in the world. When we connect with the place of awareness that is behind our mental chatter, we can be still and at peace.
You are encouraged this week to take this Mindful Monday completely in silence, in order to support this work. If that feels like too much, you are welcome to try just a half of the day in silence. “In silence” means not speaking or even using nonverbal communication with others, aside from a friendly smile. It includes turning off your phone and only utilizing the media outlined here. It is of course your choice if you’d like to take this on.
